My next bicycle trip will take me international! While there are many more lifetimes worth of trails and paths to ride in the United States, my dreams lay further away.

The natural continuation of this journey is to continue south, and that's what I aim to do. Baja California is next!

While I came close to attempting it in continuation of my San Diego trip, I held back for two reasons.

1. No company. Biking is at least twice as fun with a friend. This is especially true when this trip should take around a month. While I do make friends on the road, I'd love to share this experience with someone. If you think you or a friend might be interested, let me know!


2. Improper gear. While my road bike + trailer setup worked wonderfully on the reliable roads of the USA, I'm looking for more versatile bicycles to continue internationally and take advantage of more types of trails.

The only question is, should I stick mostly to Mexico 1, or look into the offroad Baja Divide?
